Sport at the Toulouse & Clermont Ferrand Children's Hospital - 01 sept. 2021

Sports therapy is necessary for the well-being of hospitalized children, when possible. Numerous scientific studies have proven that the practice of physical activity reduces the side effects of treatments, reduces the risk of recurrence and improves the quality of life of patients. This is why Eva pour la vie, together with other associations, supports sports therapy programs for children with cancer in the children's hospitals in Toulouse and Clermont-Ferrand.

CAMI Sport & Cancer's sports therapy programs are specifically designed to provide effective, personalized and safe support to cancer patients regardless of their age, sex, location of their cancer or their time in the care process. .

The sports therapy programs offered within the Sport & Cancer Pole of the Children's Hospital take place directly in the children's rooms and are supervised by a Sports Therapy Practitioner specifically trained in physical activity in hemato-onco-pediatrics. .
