Respite stays for sick children

When a serious illness such as cancer affects a child, the daily life of the whole family is impacted. From there, everything revolves around care such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery as well as home/hospital/lab journeys. It's hard for the child, but also for his parents, brothers and sisters. In the midst of this heavy fight, it is difficult to find a small bubble of oxygen, a parenthesis to recharge your batteries, to find yourself in every sense of the word. But often, financial worries make this need impossible. "Eva pour la vie" helps these families.

This is why "Eva pour la vie" finances various stays (countryside, sea, mountain, etc.) in lodgings located in many regions of France in order to offer sick children and their families a well-deserved respite. Holidays for all those children suffering from cancer, or a serious illness and whose families - often faced with a drop in income and an increase in expenses related to the child's condition - would not have been able to fund their cost.

This action is carried out in partnership with the association "Coeur en liberté", 100% voluntary like us, created by the benevolent Joanna and her husband Jacques. The latter finds quality lodgings at attractive prices and liaises with the families, in order to propose the most suitable solution, in line with the wishes of the sick child and his family. Thus, dozens of families of sick children were able to benefit from a few days of respite by the sea, a lake, the mountains...
