RV at the Elysée - 16 oct. 2019

Remember: on February 28, Corinne (Eva's mother and president of Eva pour la vie) called on Emmanuel Macron on the issue of pediatric cancers. This Wednesday, she went to the Elysee Palace, accompanied by Drs Grosset, Quurez and Stéphanie Ville, president of Grandir sans Cancer, in order to develop observations and needs on the following subjects ...


- The 5 M € granted at the end of 2018 for research on childhood cancer, their use to date by the INCa and the need to add 15 to 20 M € per year in order to finance, in particular, the projects EMERGING research in prevention and curative treatments

-The social component: creation of a sesame to facilitate the procedures for families affected by a child's cancer, creation of an exceptional status to protect parents during this ordeal (eg: freezing of credits, salary protection ...), extension of the existing Death Capital to children

-The gift of life: increase the number of potential donors (blood, bone marrow, etc.) and catch up with Germany, in particular by raising awareness among young people (citizen course, EMC course, civic service, etc.) .

In 1h30, we were able to defend these 3 axes (also known to the deputies) and to argue without language of wood.
