This Sunday, June 3, Groupama Center-Atlantique is organizing, in partnership with Eva pour la vie, Solidarity Walks in 10 departments of the great southwest to raise awareness among the general public and support research on childhood cancer. The donations collected are entirely donated to the research project of Drs Grosset and Hagedorn on pediatric brain tumors.
These donations will make it possible to prolong the recruitment of a qualified and motivated researcher, who works full time on this project. Together with the Groupama Foundation and friendly associations (ACCL, Aidons Marina, Kaëna Association, ESCAPE, Les Amis de Marius, etc.), we are the main funders of this team which works on childhood cancer.
Several walks - accessible to adults and children - are planned in Dordogne (27), Charentes (16), Charente-Maritime (17), Dordogne (24), Indre (36), Lot et Garonne (47), Deux-Sèvres ( 79), Vendée (85), Vienne (86) and Gironde (33).
In Gironde (33) - Sunday June 3, 2018 in GARDEGAN, at the Château de PITRAY
Volunteers from Eva pour la vie will be present on the Gironde walk. RV from 9 a.m. for a departure at 9:30 or 10 a.m. depending on the route (1.5 km, 6.7 or 12.5 km - open to adults and children)! Free participation, 5 € minimum. Registration and coffee at reception - supplies on the course.
Gourmet market on the way back - visit of the Château chapel - pétanque competition - visit of the Château cellars.
